What Others Say

Kāore te kūmara e kōrero mō tōna ake reka.
The kūmara doesn't speak of its own sweetness.

Frances Valentin - CEO and Founder of Mind Lab-Tech Futures Lab

I have had the great honour of working with Sara and to being privy to her knowledge and insight than spans from cultural competence to artificial intelligence. She brings clarity and context t Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the immense significance it holds in Aotearoa in history and the future. She is citizen of the world while being deeply connected to her heritage and home in Aotearoa.

Sara has the ability to paint the big picture and to bring agency, and candid personal experiences to her work. She is authentic, honest, and open. If you are lucky enough to share a conversation with Sara, you will be richer and wiser for it.

Andy Boss  - General Manager New Zealand, LexisNexis  Pacific

As part of the RELX global business journey focusing on Inclusion & Diversity (I&D). The LexisNexis NZ business has decided to embrace “Te Ao Māori”.  An opportunity for the whole business to immerse and embrace Māori in everything we do.

A major part of this work was to partner with Maori Lab & Sara to build an experience for the Management team. The noho Marae and Treaty Grounds visit was an exceptional experience to aid our understanding of the key principles and challenges for Māori”

Gay Barton - General Manager, Drake Medox New Zealand/Australia · Drake International - New Zealand

Sara facilitated an introductory workshop for Drake New Zealand’s leadership team. The workshop was developed to ensure full participation with the team.

Sara crafted the workshop for an understanding of belonging and all looking for a better life . This led the team to be keen to continue working towards a real understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi following the principles of Participation, Partnership and Protection.

We really enjoyed it. One of the unexpected outcomes was, through the Māori approach that Sara brought, we learned more about ourselves, each other as a business and each other personally. We are a team where some of us have been together for 20 years! It makes us want to know more.
